The life after death saga…

By now the news of Sean LeVert’s death has been on just about every news channel and in most if not all the news papers. As sad as it is, I’ve noticed that on a lot of blogs and such, folks have just been focusing on how “great” a person he supposedly was and the usual tripe folk say when someone has died.
I’m not saying his legacy should be berated and picked apart, however, there’s just so many flags going up for me in regards to this man’s life outside of his prison stint.
If this man comes from such well to do ( let’s face it even if he didnt have the money, his Daddy did) stock, why was he in Jail for failure to pay child support?
For his Daddy to NOT bail him out by giving and/or loaning the money - says alot about him and the relationship in which he had with his father. That must have been a lesson he needed to be taught due to some negligence.
And now the family wants the FBI to look into things? I’m sorry but as loved as he was by many, they’re alot of prisoners who don’t get this type of treatment; and they’re thousands of innocent men and women who in fact need such exposure. People who have never committed the crime their spending years and years of time behind bars for and never get heard, yet due to celebrity, people are now calling the prison and its officials into question?
This man wasn’t there because he ran a red light, he was there because he fritted away money he could have given to his three children. It’s one thing to be supportive and show empathy, but let us not loose sight of the fact that had he been Jaquan Smith from the projects - we would have all shook our heads and said, ” you see, had he paid his child support his ass wouldn’t have even been in there…”.
